Lower than average yields in this vineyard produce rich, concentrated fruit that is harvested by hand when it reaches optimal ripeness. Aged for 3 years in French oak barrels, this Cabernet Sauvignon expresses the very best pairing of sustainable farming and winemaking dedication.

Our 2018 Estate Reserve bottling greets the nose with ripe black fruit aromas of boysenberry and cassis with a tempting hint of lavender. The rich, full-bodied flavors on the palate deliver an enticingly complex blend of currant, plum, and blackberry with lingering notes of leather and earthy spice.

Aromas of boysenberry, plum, and sage that lend to dark cherry flavors on the pallet; framed by well-integrated tannins and hints of dark chocolate and barrel spice.

A fruity late-harvest cabernet with strawberry jam, juicy peach, and pomegranate aromas and flavors. Perfect for a summer sangria or holiday-spiced mulled wine.

Only 98 cases produced, this Merlot opens with an enticing bouquet of ripe berries and subtle hints of violet. The palate is plush with cherry, raspberry, and soft spices rounding out with medium tannins and a smooth finish.

The Mi Tierra is a full-bodied, powerhouse wine with firm oak tannins. Aromas of boysenberry and black currant greet the nose with hints of ginger and anise. The ripe flavors of rich black fruit are accompanied by earthy vanilla notes, leading to a long, elegant finish. This Mi Tierra will continue to develop greater complexity and character with additional aging. 
For 2016, 3 of these barrels were chosen for the final blend of 67% Syrah and 33% Petit Verdot. - Taste the Difference

This Tempranaillo is named Disfrutar (Spanish "to enjoy"). Produced in the Joven ("young") style, it is lightly oaked so as not to dominate the fresh fruit flavors. Together the words insprie us to enjoy this wine in its youth. Bright, cherry-red fruit flavors of raspberry and plum greet the palate with a slight peppery note and a lucsious, medium-length finish.

This wine's hallmark sweet tobacco and leather aromas lead to ripe fruit flavors of black cherry and blackberry that mingle with coffee and dried fig notes. Backed by well-integrated tannins, for a long savory and earthy finish.

Tempranillo Erlexte - "erle" is bee and "exte" is house. Put those together for the bee hive, or where the bees live: Erletxe. Pronounced "air" and the "leche" (just like milk in Spanish).

Our 2020 Petit Verdot & Merlot blend shows fruit aromas of marionberry with a hint of toasty oak and thyme. It is an elegant wine, with its soft tannins, intriguing flavors, and beautiful structure of juicy plum, savory dried herbs, smoked meats, and cherry chocolate.

The warm, sunny climate of our Snake River Valley vineyard delivers a gorgeous, deep purple wine with smooth, well-integrated tannins and medium acidity. It features aromas of leather and tobacco and a range of flavors from plum and blackberry to hints of bacon fat and pepper on the finish.

Terrosa is a Spanish word for “earthy” or “chalky”, making it a perfect name for a wine that showcases where our estate vines are grown: the Snake River Valley AVA, which encompasses the ancient Lake Idaho shoreline with its distinctive Feltham series soil (loamy fine sand).

Terrosa is a premium blend of our estate Petit Verdot and Syrah, handharvested from the low-yield vines that reliably deliver rich, concentrated fruit, producing age-worthy wines of great complexity. Aromas of dark fruit and spice; intense flavors saturate the palate with jammy blackberry, toasted oak, and black pepper. The namesake “terrosa” is further reflected in the earthy and concentrated finish.

30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot, 25% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc

The bitter winter of 2017 was devastating to Idaho vineyards, leading to greatly reduced harvests. This Terrosa is the only red wine we produced from that vintage. The silver lining for wine lovers is the lower yields produced fruit with intenselyconcentrated flavor and complexity. Delicious now, those patient enough to lay down a few bottles will be amply rewarded.

Beautiful aromas of lilac and pipe tobacco. Juicy and full on the palate with wild blackberries, black currant, dark chocolate, and dried herbs. Well-balanced with some fun verve carrying through to the rich finish tasting each distinct varietal.

Our estate Syrah fortified with Koenig's Grappa and barrel-aged for ten years in French oak.  This jammy plum, blackberry meets cassis and mocha; finishing with gobs of dark chocolate.

Lightly oaked with a creamy texture. Flavors of golden apple, vanilla, and toasted caramel lead to a lingering finish with notes of pineapple and balanced acidity.

In 1981, the first vines were planted at Bitner Vineyards on a sunny, south-facing slope that was ideally suited for Chardonnay grapes. The devastating winter of 2017 destroyed all but six rows of these old vines. Our 2019 vintage is the last Chardonnay produced exclusively from this block.

This crisp, lightly oaked wine offers lovely aromas of green apple and pineapple—featuring  flavor profiles of pear and melon with a touch of citrus—leading to a crisp, beautifully balanced finish.

Estate Vineyard planted in 1981, our old-vine dry Rieslings have been among Idaho’s most successful and acclaimed white wines year after year. Originally inspired by Dr. Ron Bitner’s frequent travels to Australia during the 1990s, these wines reflect that region’s distinctive style, characterized by bright acidity and minerality.

Our long sunny days and cool summer evenings, combined with the unique soils of the Snake River Valley, result in crisp, clean wines with aromas of ginger, green apple, and wet stone. Further years of bottle aging will produce additional complexity with the honey and petrol notes typical of the best examples of this varietal.

Estate blend: 59% Riesling, 40% Chardonnay, 1% Vionier

This off-dry blended wine highlights the minerality of riesling, stone fruit taste of chardonnay and floral notes of viognier. Citrus and peach for a bright finish.
